Dodd Frank Act Bank Capital Requirements
Federal banking agencies issued a notice of proposed rulemaking to modify the enhanced supplementary leverage ratio standards applicable to U.S. global systemically important bank holding companies (GSIBs) and their depository institution subsidiaries. The proposed rule will significantly reduce Tier 1 capital requirements for GSIBs and U.S. subsidiaries.
