Is Your Tenant Excessively Using Utilities?
Many landlords provide utilities as part of the office rental and charge tenants an additional fixed flat fee monthly for these services. However, if the tenant might use an excessive amount of utilities, the landlord should address this issue in the lease. Include this clause in an office lease for situations where the tenant's utility consumption exceeds (or is anticipated to exceed) standard levels.
