- Federal: The Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit grants the government’s motion for a stay pending appeal of a district court’s preliminary injunction against the enforcement of Executive Orders (EOs) 14151 and 14173. The EOs instruct executive agencies to end diversity, equity, and inclusion programs within federal grant and contract processes. See Nat'l Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Ed. v. Trump, No. 25-cv-333 (4th Cir. March 14, 2025).
- Federal: A Washington, D.C., federal judge ordered the reinstatement of fired National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) member Gwynne Wilcox, stating that the President does not have the power to remove NLRB members and restoring a quorum on the board. This decision is pending a likely appeal by President Donald Trump's administration. See Wilcox v. Trump, 2025 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 40651 (D.D.C. Mar. 6, 2025).
