Launched in "beta" in June 2008 with 20 pilot members, the network has grown through word of mouth to more than 2,000 lawyers and is scheduled for formal launch in the first quarter of 2009.
The Alliance Partner Program for Martindale-Hubbell Connected offers legal associations and other select non-profit legal organizations secure and dedicated network communities – enabling a quick and easy method for these organizations to greatly expand their members’ networking and collaboration capabilities while also integrating their group within the premier global online network for legal professionals. Earlier this month, the Minority Corporate Counsel Association joined the Alliance Partner Program.
Carl Anduri, President of Lex Mundi, commented, "Martindale-Hubbell Connected can enhance the value we provide member firm lawyers by enabling them to stay closely connected, keep apprised of opportunities and developments with member firms, collaborate on projects, and facilitate referrals across the association."
"We are thrilled that Lex Mundi has joined the growing Martindale-Hubbell Connected community," said Ralph Calistri, senior vice president of Global Client Development at LexisNexis and CEO of Martindale-Hubbell. "Lex Mundi members will be able to network and collaborate with each other within the Lex Mundi community on Martindale-Hubbell Connected, and interact and connect with other lawyer communities without having to leave the Martindale-Hubbell network."
