Dual Top 5 rankings in the 2007 Socha-Gelbmann E-Discovery Report underscore choices, control and confidence provided by LexisNexis® Discovery Services

July 11, 2007 — New York, NY, July 11, 2007 - LexisNexis has earned top rankings in the categories of “Overall Electronic Discovery Service Provider” and “Overall Electronic-Discovery Software Provider” in the recently published 2007 Socha-Gelbmann Electronic Discovery Report.

The annual report is an independent and authoritative review capturing market size and scope, as well as trends, issues, provider standings and more within the e-discovery industry. Results are based on comprehensive survey responses from law firms, corporations and providers of discovery services, along with analysis from leading industry experts George Socha and Tom Gelbmann.

For the second year in a row, LexisNexis® has been ranked in the highest category for e-discovery service providers – primarily for its online review capabilities from Applied Discovery®. LexisNexis also earned top ranking in the e-discovery software category for the company's Concordance® offering - the third year in a row in which Concordance has been rated in the top tier for software. Both Concordance and online review from Applied Discovery are available as individual products and services respectively, as well as being part of the LexisNexis® Total Litigator platform – a single online destination offering attorneys the tools and litigation support services needed to manage cases at each step of the litigation process.

“Achieving top rankings in both service and software categories in this comprehensive report says a lot about how LexisNexis discovery capabilities are used, valued and trusted in the legal industry today,” said Michele Vivona, senior vice president of LexisNexis® Litigation Services. “It also signals that our commitment to offer litigators a diverse selection of discovery tools, services and content is providing them the choices, the control and the confidence to win.”
