LexisNexis Supports AI-Powered Workflows for Real Estate Law Orbital, the AI platform purpose-built for the complexity of real estate law, announced a $60 million Series B funding round led by Brighton Park Capital, with participation from REV, the venture capital arm of RELX (owner of LexisNexis Legal & Professional), along with The LegalTech Fund, Moderne Ventures, Grosvenor Group, JLL Spark, Outward, and Seedcamp. As the UK’s market leader in real estate legal AI, Orbital will use the investment to accelerate growth across the US and UK and expand adoption across the real estate transaction ecosystem, a $140 billion market opportunity. Orbital’s technology is designed to meet the deeply specific demands of real estate legal work, a practice area materially underserved by the broader legal AI landscape. By combining AI optimized for real estate law with spatial visualization, mapping, and real estate data, Orbital automates real estate legal work and enables transactions to progress faster. This will replace manual, document-heavy review across hundreds of interdependent records, maps and historic deeds (many of which date back decades or even centuries) and chart the course to fully automated AI-driven real estate legal processes, introducing speed and transparency for the world’s largest asset class. Orbital ended 2025 supporting 200,000 real estate transactions across the US and UK.
