CourtLink Brings Supreme Court Oral Argument Audio into Your Workflow

Court filings and opinions tell part of the story, but oral arguments provide unique insights into how justices engage with key legal issues, question counsel, and evaluate competing arguments. By making Supreme Court audios available within CourtLink, legal professionals can gain deeper understanding of case dynamics and judicial reasoning without leaving their research workflow. The highlights provided in the transcripts may save users considerable time in reviewing and analyzing transcripts.

As part of an initial trial release, CourtLink will provide access to audio files of oral arguments in 43 U.S. Supreme Court cases, along with non-official transcripts of the recordings, with highlights of the key factual moments. This initial release is designed to validate customer demand, gather feedback, and assess the value of integrating court audio files directly into the CourtLink experience.

With this enhancement, users will be able to access and review Supreme Court oral argument recordings and transcripts alongside their existing court research workflows, providing additional context and insight into significant cases and judicial proceedings.
