Using Protégé to craft powerful Newsdesk searches

If you’ve ever been stumped by crafting a challenging search in Newsdesk, consider using Protégé to get you started.

Upload the Newsdesk Useful Commands sheet, I have saved this document in a vault that I can return to easily. (I’ve named the vault “Newsdesk,” and I’ve uploaded many documents that I’ve created in support of Newsdesk searching.)

Now at the prompt box, select this document, and ask that a Newsdesk Boolean search be created using the tips in this document. My prompt was: Create a Newsdesk Boolean search that will retrieve articles about labor legal issues in the logistics and manufacturing industry.

I was very pleased with the results because it gave me a great starting point! I put the search into Newsdesk and made tweaks to reflect my preferences.
