Many practitioners recognize that conducting Early Case Assessment facilitates better decision-making with respect to whether and how to proceed with a case – ultimately resulting in more certainty and a reduction of costs. This seminar addresses how to use online resources to conduct Early Case Assessment – to learn about the key “players” (e.g. opposing counsel, judges, etc..), to investigate corporations, to pull jury instructions, and more. Additionally, it will highlight how attorneys are using innovative tools such as Artificial Intelligence and analytics to quickly find answers to common legal questions, determine motion strategy and develop more persuasive motions.

*CLE programs are 60 minutes long. The following states are approved for 1 credit hour: Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, and New York. Prior approval is being sought in additional states and you can inquire about accreditation statuses by emailing cle@lexisnexis.com. Please provide event title and date.

Note: If you are licensed in New York, this content is appropriate for both newly admitted and experienced New York attorneys.
