On June 5, 2023, Attorney General Tong advised Connecticut consumers of their new privacy rights under the Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA), Conn. Gen. Stat. §§ 42-515 through 42-526. Entities covered by the disclosure and transparency requirements of the CTDPA will need an external, customer-facing data privacy policy explaining the rights of Connecticut residents regarding the collection, use, sale, and sharing of their personal information.  Practical Guidance has what you need!
