Missouri attorneys and their staff at both small and large law firms need fast, reliable access to the state’s business entity statutes and the judicial decisions interpreting them. CSC’s Missouri Laws Governing Business Entities Annotated includes case notes alongside corporate law statutes, giving practitioners the insight they need to research issues and advise clients with confidence.
What’s New in the 2026 Edition
The 2026 edition captures more than a dozen new case notes added since the 2025 edition. New cases are identified in the Table of New Annotations, and gray bars in the body of the book make it quick and easy to locate new notes within the statutory text. The edition also includes three full-text cases addressing recent legal developments in partnership law, arbitration and copyright infringement.
Comprehensive Statutory Content
This edition features the full text of Title 23, Corporations, Associations and Partnerships, from the Missouri Statutes. It also includes related statutory sections covering taxation, trademarks, securities and arbitration, along with Articles 1, 8 and 9 of the UCC. All statutory content is current through the 2025 103rd General Assembly Regular and Special Sessions.
Forms, Fees and Practice Tools
An up-to-date Fee Schedule lists the Secretary of State’s required filing fees for a range of business and UCC services. Readers also receive online access to more than 60 Missouri forms for incorporation or formation, qualification, mergers, dissolution and name reservation for all entity types through the LexisNexis® Store download center. The appendix includes a complete forms list and contact information for Missouri’s Secretary of State Business Services.
Available in Print and Digital Formats
As with CSC’s other annotated statutory collections, Missouri Laws Governing Business Entities Annotated is available as an eBook and as part of the LexisNexis® Digital Library.
