LexisNexis Acquires Juris, Inc., Cementing its Leadership in the Time, Billing, and Accounting Software Market

Acquisition Strengthens LexisNexis® Practice Management Portfolio in Support of Company’s Total Practice Solutions Strategy

July 9, 2007 — New York, NY, July 9, 2007 - LexisNexis today announced it has acquired Nashville-based Juris, Inc., the leading provider of time, billing, and accounting software for mid-sized law firms.

“Juris adds another market-leading product to an impressive LexisNexis® portfolio of Practice Management products.  Their leading position in the mid-sized law firm market and the strength of their product offering makes them a great addition to LexisNexis,” said Ralph Calistri, senior vice president and general manager for the LexisNexis Practice Management solution line. “In keeping with our Total Practice Solutions strategy, we anticipate integrating Juris® products with key LexisNexis offerings in the near future.”

Juris is now part of the LexisNexis Practice Management solution line, which provides services and tools proven to improve firm productivity and profitability. Juris joins leading time, billing, and accounting products like Time Matters®, Billing Matters®, and PCLaw™, giving law firms in all markets a solution that fits their needs.
