LexisNexis Announces Realigned Organizational Structure to Advance Total Solutions Strategy and Augment Customer Experience

December 07, 2007

December 7, 2007 — New York, NY, December 7, 2007 - LexisNexis announced plans today to realign its global and U.S. organizational structure and implement new initiatives to expand its Total Solutions strategy. These changes are designed to enhance customer experience and coordinate solutions lines across all markets served by LexisNexis and to deliver a clear message of the value of LexisNexis globally.

The new organizational structure and initiatives include coordinating the management and development of solutions to meet customers’ needs at both the local and global level; unifying the U.S. legal businesses into a single organization; enhancing global coordination of product development, editorial and production, customer support; and continued investment to augment customers’ experiences. The changes include establishment of a unified strategic marketing function under a Chief Marketing Officer to lead the company’s global marketing organization to effectively communicate the value of the LexisNexis brand and the increasing identification of LexisNexis with Total Solutions offerings.  A further announcement will be made on this appointment.

“These organizational changes at LexisNexis will materially enhance our customers’ experiences and propel our Total Solutions growth globally as well as ensure continued above-market growth of our online and print businesses,” said Andy Prozes, CEO LexisNexis Group.

Significant changes include:

  • Creation of Global Solutions organization to effectively serve all of the company’s diverse markets and multi-national customers;
  • Creation of a single U.S. legal business to streamline decision making, optimize resources and align legal solutions for all US markets;
  • Global oversight of operations to effectively ensure “best practices” and optimization of product development, editorial and production, customer support, and infrastructure across all LexisNexis businesses.

“We are shaping around our customers’ current and future needs by coordinating the development, management and delivery of our Total Solutions offerings across all business units in all countries in order to meet local and global customer needs.” said Andy Prozes.
