Qld – Supreme Court launches eLodgements for civil claims in Brisbane

Summary:
On 30 June 2025, the Queensland Courts and Tribunals Online Services Portal (OSP) will expand to include eLodgements for civil claims in the Brisbane Supreme Court, aligning with its stated commitment to embrace digital technologies and enhance service delivery through digitisation.
The expansion of the OSP on 30 June 2025 will provide practitioners with the option to prepare and lodge initiating and non-initiating documents for civil claim proceedings in Brisbane.
Practitioners will also be able to register and lodge documents for civil claim matters commenced before 30 June 2025, regardless of whether the claim was initiated over the counter or by mail.
Documents lodged via the OSP after 4.30pm will be processed on the next business day, and no changes will be made to processes for urgent after-hours filing.
To use the OSP, practitioners must verify their identity via MyID or QDI.
