Based on a solid foundation in legal theory, he excelled in responding quickly and calmly during trials. He represented a respondent before the Supreme People's Court, successfully overturning a pre-trial patent infringement injunction. This case marked the first of its kind since the Court assumed jurisdiction over such injunctions in November 2023, clarifying the conditions and limits for applying pre-trial patent injunctions and setting a significant precedent for future cases. Benefiting from Mr. Liu's positive litigation outcomes and his consultative insights in overseas litigation cases, his work has facilitated a comprehensive settlement between two major competitors in China's smart home appliance industry, promoting a global resolution between the two parties.  Additionally, he contributed to local government policy and intellectual property research, providing insights into the latest industry developments in China and offered consultations on intellectual property systems in key foreign markets such as Thailand, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.

In terms of firm business, Mr. Liu recommended the firm to introduce an AI system to assist lawyers in their daily work, primarily for information gathering, organization, brainstorming, case searches, and case report generation during the initial project phase. He also adopted a diversified market development strategy, such as co-hosting a seminar on corporate IPO issues and on the topic of Chinese companies’ overseas expansion with a well-known accounting firm, writing articles that align with policy trends (e.g., on complex unfair competition cases involving new technologies), and actively participating in discussions with General Counsel from different companies.

This year, Mr. Liu has led complex IP litigation training, case study sessions, and Mock Trials for New Talent. He also contributes to the positive evolution of the industry by participating in major intellectual property summits, publishing professional articles, and joining joint activities with other industries to strengthen the integration and interaction between different service sectors. Additionally, he actively participated in various community activities, including sports competitions and charity events. He consistently focuses on emerging fields and makes systematic learning to enhance his professional level in the industry.
