Alan Wong was promoted to group partner and appointed head of Ogier’s Technology and Web3 sector group in Asia at age 35. He is recognised as the only individual in Hong Kong named a “Rising Star Partner” by IFLR1000, 2024 and 2025 in both private equity funds and investment funds. He acted as adviser and listing agent on Cayman Islands Stock Exchange fund listings—including market-first and innovative offerings—with aggregate AUM of approximately US$1.5 billion during the period. In his first year as partner, Alan’s contributions have consistently ranked among the highest at the firm across both legal services and fiduciary business, with his crypto-related work recognised as industry-leading in the Asia-Pacific region. 

He led the launch of a US$1 billion cryptocurrency fund and establishment of a family office for Asia’s largest crypto quant trading firm, coordinating Cayman, BVI and succession structures while preserving trading operations averaging over US$2 billion in daily volume. His growth includes expansion into tokenisation, stablecoins, DeFi/DEX, DAOs and real-estate STOs, acting on Hong Kong’s first SFC-approved real-estate STO (PRINCE Tokens), participation in an internal AI steering group and AIMA’s APAC Digital Assets Working Group, as well as sharing insights with regulators and policymakers. His stated vision is to deliver coordinated, multi-disciplinary advice that translates complex digital-asset concepts into practical solutions across evolving markets.
