Jenny CY Wong
Partner
Sit, Fung, Kwong & Shum

Jenny C.Y. Wong is a rising litigator recognized for her expertise in complex commercial disputes. As a Partner at Sit, Fung, Kwong & Shum, she maintains a diverse and dynamic practice, consistently delivering formidable results for her clients.

Her recent trial successes underscore her strategic prowess. In a case concerning land possession in the New Territories, Jenny successfully secured orders to set aside a judgment originally obtained by fraud, as well as a subsequent consent summons entered under a mistake of fact. The court also awarded her client indemnity costs, a full vindication for her client.  Furthermore, she spearheaded her team in providing comprehensive, round-the-clock support for a landmark trial—the first resale price maintenance case in Hong Kong since the full implementation of the Competition Ordinance.

Leveraging her dual qualification as a Greater Bay Area Lawyer, Jenny integrates her knowledge of PRC law into her Hong Kong practice. This unique capability was demonstrated when she successfully defended against an application to set aside the registration of a PRC judgment, prevailing on all five argued grounds.

Beyond the casework on her desk, Jenny is a new driving force behind her firm's strategic growth in Chinese Mainland. The firm has enhanced its profile through a series of over ten seminars on common-law enforcement and winding-up practices across major cities in Chinese Mainland in the past year, strengthening vital law-firm partnerships and expanding the regional footprints of SFKS.

Committed to the highest standards of the profession, she has attained Fellowship with the Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators and has completed all examinations for accreditation as a General Mediator.  Looking forward, Jenny is dedicated to reinforcing Hong Kong's pivotal role as a premier global hub for legal services and dispute resolution.

It is with immense honor that Jenny is recognized for the second consecutive time in the "40 UNDER 40" awards.
