Julian Yeung leads high-stakes litigation and global sponsorships at the intersection of digital assets, regulation and brand growth. In September 2024 he led negotiations on and closed the company’s largest annual sponsorship—the UEFA Champions League—making Crypto.com the competition’s first official cryptocurrency partner and bringing the brand to over three billion fans worldwide. He continues to oversee brand activations to ensure regulatory-compliant marketing across TV and stadium assets in 150+ jurisdictions. He also supported with the securing of partnerships such as the PGA LIV Golf “The Showdown,” establishing a USD 10 million crypto prize purse, as well as a first-of-its-kind  partnership with Dubai’s Department of Finance to enable government-fee payments in cryptocurrency.

As Head of Employment Law, he manages disputes for a 3,000+ global workforce across 15+ jurisdictions and develops policies and investigations in a lean, three-lawyer team. As Head of Litigation (ex-US), he leads customer and commercial disputes, securing wins in Italy, Malta and the Netherlands in 50+ matters addressing novel AML/CTF issues; widespread self-representation in consumer arbitrations has yielded material cost savings. He serves as principal contact for a sponsorship portfolio approaching USD 2 billion in commercial acquisitions, coordinating 100-plus-person internal teams and reviewing advertising compliance across 30+ jurisdictions on the ground and 100+ electronically. His growth includes winning ALB Young Lawyer of the Year (In-House) and qualifying as a CIArb Fellow; he contributes to regional thought leadership and mentors through mooting. He is committed to advancing Web3 jurisprudence and serves as an arbitrator in digital-asset disputes, with cross-jurisdiction work spanning Asia from PRC and Hong Kong to India, Japan and Southeast Asia.
