Jincheng Tongda & Neal Law Firm
Between 1 September 2024 and 31 August 2025, Tingting Chen led complex, high-stakes disputes and delivered quantifiable impact. She represented a well-known chemical enterprise registered in Samoa in a trade-secret suit against a domestic listed company involving overall process flows and technical secrets in China’s fine-chemicals sector, with a case value exceeding RMB 100 million. She secured a comprehensive victory at the Jiangsu High People’s Court for Shanghai Lanhai Auto Development Co., Ltd. in litigation arising from bankruptcy restructuring with China Rundong Auto Group Limited (litigation value exceeding RMB 700 million) after consolidation of 35 related lease and service contract disputes for joint trial.
She also represented RIGHT HONOUR GLOBAL LIMITED in major breach-of-contract litigation tied to an acquisition that was disrupted by the target’s sudden bankruptcy, supporting efforts to restore HKEX listing status. Quantitatively, her personal income grew by more than 35% and team revenue by over 30%, placing her among the top five in the Shanghai office; she added over 30 new corporate clients with zero attrition and achieved complete victories in multiple major cases. As a team leader in syndicated-loan enforcement matters involving ICBC and CCB (total debt RMB 5 billion) where land usage rights certificates were missing, she innovated an equity-disposal path, drafted nearly 20 opinion letters, navigated objections, triggered judicial auction processes and advanced a restructuring solution that delivered full recovery.
Tingting demonstrated continued growth by qualifying as an arbitrator and being appointed to the BeiHai Court of International Arbitration, and by preparing the second volume of her book “Comprehensive Guide to Corporate Litigation Practices” (target publication by end-2025). Her cross-border work includes defending a leading Chinese internet company in HKIAC proceedings brought by a foreign investor (with property-preservation measures released in Mainland China) and advising a Hong Kong-listed pharmaceutical company on an investment in Amman, including FDI setup and JV formation. She contributes to regional thought leadership through published guides on data protection and cybersecurity in Belt and Road countries and on Chinese corporate disputes, and through academic engagement at Fudan University and Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
