Bitget Legal Team

From 2024 to 2025, Bitget climbed from being a top 10 crypto exchange to a top 4 crypto exchange by trading volume. By 2025, Bitget served over 120 million users worldwide and handled an average of over US$30 billion in crypto trades daily (equating to over US$1 trillion annually).

In recognition of Bitget’s transformation, Forbes named it one of the “Most Trustworthy Crypto Exchanges in 2025,” ranking second among global exchanges.

Hon Ng (Chief Legal Officer) founded the Bitget Legal, Compliance, and Internal Controls Department in 2024. Subsequently, Phil Leung (Legal Director – Commercial, Dispute Resolution, and Employment) was its first department leadership hire.

The Bitget Legal Team has since grown to approximately 20 members worldwide and has been widely recognized for its impact within the legal industry, including features by prestigious legal media platforms such as LexisNexis and Thomson Reuters Asian Legal Business.
