LexisNexis® 40 UNDER 40 2025
Yi Qing Loh
Managing Partner
Qing Chambers
In 2025, Yi Qing Loh expanded Qing Chambers by launching a consultancy-services platform in London, designed to bridge legal education and practice through advisory in HR, ESG regulatory and cross-border matters alongside mentoring for graduates and early-career lawyers.
She founded Conscious Coaching in Malaysia and Singapore, a mental-health and leadership programme tailored for lawyers, entrepreneurs, senior executives and the wider community, emphasizing emotional intelligence, stress resilience and conscious decision-making—and embedding these qualities into firm culture.
She led the Singapore Mindful Networking Series in collaboration with Indonesian partner Librina, convening legal, ESG and corporate leaders and generating three cross-border advisory engagements. Recognitions this period include being a Top 7 finalist for Managing Partner of the Year (ALB SE Asia Law Awards 2025), Qing Chambers shortlisted as a Top 6 ESG and Sustainability Law Firm of the Year (ALB Malaysia Law Awards 2025), and selection to the LexisNexis 40 Under 40 2024 (Asia and Southeast Asia lists).
Quantifiably, she generated over 50% growth in new revenue across ESG corporate advisory, cross-border structuring and regulatory compliance, reduced turnaround time by 30% through streamlined systems and automation, and improved staff retention by 40% through coaching initiatives. Cross-jurisdictionally, she led corporate and regulatory work across Malaysia, Singapore and the UK, including ESG-linked risk frameworks under multiple regimes, cross-border employee structuring for regional payroll providers and sustainability mapping for SMEs expanding into Malaysia and Singapore.
Her 2024/2025 Annual Newsletter (issued 15 September 2024) broadened regional thought leadership on ESG compliance and policy shifts, and she served as an arbitrator for FDI Moot Shenzhen 2025. Yi Qing envisions a globally integrated, human-centred, purpose-driven profession in which lawyers lead on climate accountability, ethical business transformation and mental-wellness advocacy—embedding sustainability and conscious leadership into legal practice across ASEAN and the UK.
