Creating a Diverse, Equitable and Inclusive Workplace
Our diversity recruitment strategy includes sponsoring and attending university recruitment events, career fairs, conferences, and participating in programs that focus on attracting and developing a diverse workforce through multiple channels and platforms.
Our targeted Talent Acquisition sourcing methods include partnering with diverse networks, leveraging social media, and building grassroots recruitment strategies. 1,800 Mentoring Pairs
We offer a global mentorship program, the NetWorx Mentorship Program, where employees across the globe can register to participate. This digital mentoring platform recommends matches based on individual profiles and specific goals, creating six-month-long mentoring relationships. This platform supports over 1,800 active mentoring pairs annually. These mentorship programs cultivate a transformative experience, enriching mentors with fresh perspectives and mentees with invaluable guidance, fostering a journey of mutual empowerment and growth.
Psychological Safety Workshops
Psychological safety in the workplace means fostering an environment where employees feel empowered to express themselves, take risks, and share ideas without fear of judgment or backlash. Across the business, we have provided training which encompasses inclusive leadership, unconscious bias, as well as psychological safety workshops for managers and teams. We measure how psychologically safe our employees feel through regular surveys and make intranet resources available to everyone.
Racial Equity Commitment
We are committed to addressing systemic barriers to racial equity, promoting fairness, and cultivating a workplace culture that honors and uplifts the experiences and contributions of racially and ethnically diverse employees. This includes supporting and advocating for our Black employees and communities. One way this occurs is through our African Ancestry Network (AAN) employee resource group (ERG). The AAN ERG champions race equality initiatives in the workplace, underscoring our pledge to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion among all employees and ensuring Black employees are empowered, valued, and offered fair opportunities for advancement.
Top Score on the Corporate Equality Index
As part of RELX, we are excited to announce that we achieved a top score of 100, earning the Equality 100 Award from the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index (CEI). The HRC CEI is the foremost benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality.
