Describe your role at InterAction+:
As a Client Advisor, my role focusses on ensuring clients get the most from InterAction. That can range from troubleshooting and brainstorming new ideas and initiatives to workshops focusing on defining or refreshing a client’s CRM strategy, process mapping, and data management. I’m currently spending a lot of time with clients planning for their move to the InterAction hybrid environment to ensure that it’s landing with users as well as possible.
What does your typical day look like?
No two days are the same! Most of my day is spent with clients, either virtually or in person. I currently work with approximately 35 clients, so there’s lots of interesting stuff to keep me busy! The remainder is spent working on internal projects, initiatives, and ongoing product training.
How did you come to join the InterAction+ team and how long have you been on the team?
This year marks 25 years that I’ve been working in the legal profession, although my first exposure to InterAction was in 2008 when I transferred internally to join the project team rolling out InterAction at a large US law firm. In the past, I was lucky enough to have had some amazing Client Advisors, so when the chance to join the team arose in early 2023 it was a no-brainer.
What is the best part of your job?
For me, it’s got to be the global nature of my role. I work with clients located in the UK, France, Belgium, the Caribbean, and the United States. It’s a mixture of different cultures, working styles, languages, and requirements – all of which are underpinned by the desire to be more efficient using technology.
What sets InterAction+ apart from other legal technology solutions?
I believe our Client Advisory team sets up apart from competitors, and that’s one of the reasons I wanted to join the team. We don’t always have all the answers, but we’re here to go on the CRM journey with our clients and can leverage the wider InterAction team to get the best results for our clients. Someone shared recently that we’ve got more than 200+ years of experience working with the product, either client-side or at LexisNexis, which is impressive.
What techniques help you stay organized and productive?
I’m a big of making lists but I also need reminders of what actions need to be done and when. Historically I always used Reminders in InterAction but I’ve now moved on to using Task Management in Client Insights Mobile. I’m also in the never-ending pursuit of achieving “Inbox Zero” which helps to keep me on top of emails and actions.
