Do you need a House or Senate report from the Serial Set on Lexis Advance®? Finding these documents is easy. Use the suggested searches to find the exact report you need! You just need to know the congressional session and the report number.

Your approach will vary depending upon whether it was released before or after the 92nd Congress due to how these reports are referenced. Link to this page to see the congressional session by year.

92nd Congress through current—Documents for these sessions are also contained within the Serial Set, but the citation format within the text is slightly different. You will need to run one of the following searches:

For Senate reports:

Number(“s. rpt. ##-###”)

For House reports:

Number(“h. rpt. ##-###”)

91st Congress and prior—Documents for these sessions are contained within the Serial Set. You will need to run one of the following searches.

In the Red Search Box, enter “Serial Set” and click on title:

For Senate reports:

Number(“s. rp. ###”) and congress(##)

For House reports:

Number(“h. rp. ###”) and congress(##)
