This one-day substantive immigration law training is intended for experienced immigration practitioners. The training will cover a range of topics in immigration law including gender-based and forced marriage asylum claims, filing successful provisional I-601A waivers, the Supreme Court term and its impact on immigrants, demystifying nunc pro tunc asylum, and problem solving with the Office of the Ombudsman for cases that are stuck with USCIS, focusing on U, T, TRIG, I-730 and asylum “problem cases.”
