Is TSA profiling Mexican air passengers in Hawaii?

December 02, 2011 (1 min read)

"An elite unit of about 32 Transportation Security officers at Honolulu International Airport is supposed to assess the behavior of passengers to see if they might be terrorist threats.  The problem is that two TSA whistle blowers came forward to tell KITV 4 News that two other screeners in the behavior detection program are improperly targeting Mexican travelers to see if they are here illegally.  'They're known as the ‘Mexicutioners,’ said one TSA officer, who spoke to KITV 4 News anonymously because TSA managers have threatened to fire officers who speak out about problems at the agency." - KITV, Dec. 1, 2011.
