NEW YORK - A New York federal judge on March 11 confirmed a London arbitration award issued for the owner of a vessel seeking unpaid amounts for use of its vessel finding that the arbitrator had the authority to find that the party that chartered the vessel breached the agreement when it failed to make payments for its use (Chi Ho Maritime S.A. v. C & Merchant Marine Co. Ltd., f/k/a Saying Shipping Co., et al., No. 08-7997, S.D. N.Y.; 2010 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 27608).
