Judge Issues Injunction Barring Lawsuits In India, Compels Arbitration

NEW YORK - A New York federal judge on March 23 granted a company's motion to compel arbitration and issued an anti-suit injunction precluding two French companies from pursuing legal actions in India, finding that an agreement required that the parties arbitrate their dispute in the International Centre for Dispute Resolution of the American Arbitration Association (ICDR) (Amaprop Limited v.
