Judge Refuses Dismissal Of Complaint To Enforce $252M IDRC Award Against Nigeria

WASHINGTON, D.C. - A District of Columbia federal judge on March 23 denied the Federal Government of Nigeria's motion to dismiss a complaint to enforce a $252 million arbitration award issued in favor of a company hired to make identification cards, pending Nigerian court proceedings, finding that adjournment would go against federal policy in favor of arbitration (Continental Transfert Technique Limited v.
