I don't know about you, but the bar exam review course I took meant hours of classroom study and practice exams. Who knew you could jog, shop or lounge around and listen to a bar review course on your iPhone, iTouch or iPad.
Well known bar review course BAR/BRI launched an app that is available to students enrolled in that course. It offers lectures and practice test questions. Emanuel Bar Review sells individual subject review courses for $12.99, according to the ABA Journal.
The newest Bar Review app, BarMax, gained much attention for its price. It's not cheap-and gets a few knocks on YouTube for being the highest priced app around. According to the ABA Journal, it's developer Mike Ghaffary got the idea for the app after taking a traditional bar review course and finding the material inconsistent and the learning method inefficient. BarMax is available for the California, NY and multistate exams. The journal reports that BarMax is developing practice apps for five other states.
