Brief: The trial court had the authority to set, as a term of probation, the condition that the defendant convicted of the misdemeanor offense of cruelty to animals may not own or live with any animals. Also, the trial court did not violate the defendant's due process rights when it proceeded to sentencing shortly after the trial ended and imposed restitution to compensate for the cost of caring for the animals.
