Tamosaitis v. Bechtel Nat'l, Inc. No. 31451-1 (July 1, 2014) 2014 Wash. App. LEXIS 1611 (lexis.com)
2014 Wash. App. LEXIS 1611 (Lexis Advance)
Areas: EMPLOYMENT LAW; PERSONAL INJURY AND INSURANCE LAW
Brief: After a series of escalating professional disagreements and souring interpersonal relationships, plaintiff was reassigned by his employer at the request of the project's general manager but did not lose any pay. Plaintiff then brought state, federal, and administrative suits against numerous defendants, including this state court action against the general manager and two of its employees for intentional interference with a business relationship. Because plaintiff failed to carry his burden of production with regard to proof of damages, the Court of Appeals affirms the summary judgment in favor of defendants.
