NEWARK, N.J. - McCarter & English has announced that Lee S. Holtzman has joined the firm's Local Property Tax Appeal Practice in the Newark office. Holtzman has extensive experience in all aspects of property tax litigation. He joins the firm as a special counsel.
Holtzman has litigated a wide variety of commercial property disputes. He has represented owners of industrial facilities, hotels, commercial properties, self storage facilities, apartment complexes, office buildings, golf courses, assisted living facilities and residential/co-op developments.
Holtzman was a law clerk to Judge Roger M. Kahn, Tax Court of New Jersey (retired). He has served on the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on Taxation and spoken at the Annual Conference of New Jersey Tax Administrators. He has provided extensive pro bono services to the Veterans Consortium Program and is a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America.
He received his J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law and his B.A., cum laude, from Montclair State University.
