ATLANTA - Pat Huddleston, the driving force behind Investor's Watchdog LLC and the author of The Vigilant Investor, joined the Atlanta-based law firm of Page Perry LLC as a partner on Nov. 28, 2011. Formerly an SEC enforcement branch chief out of the Atlanta office, a court-appointed receiver and a Chapter 11 examiner, Pat brings his depth of experience in the investment world (and other fields) to add to the national practice of Page Perry.
Huddleston graduated from Mercer Law School, cum laude, in 1987. He practiced litigation for three years and then spent six years with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the last four of which as enforcement branch chief. He has been in private practice since 1996. A sought-after speaker, trainer and educator, he has spoken before multiple organizations (including the California Association of Public Retirement Systems, the Ethics and Compliance Officers Association and the Financial Planners Association) and numerous colleges from as far south as the University of Mississippi to as far north as Harvard. He has made many television and radio appearances and published articles in publications such as Risk Management and Benefits, and authored The Vigilant Investor to rave reviews.
Page Perry is an investor-focused 12 attorney firm based in Atlanta whose lawyers have handled thousands of securities arbitration cases, more than 100 jury trials and more than 125 appeals.
