MINNEAPOLIS - A Minnesota federal judge on March 14 denied a motion to dismiss most of a False Claims Act (FCA) lawsuit against the former Guidant Corp. for failing to report defects in its implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) devices (United States of America, ex rel. James Allen v. Guidant Corporation, et al., No. 11-22, D. Minn.).
