5th Circuit Vacates Certification Of Class Of Texas Foster Children

NEW ORLEANS - The Fifth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on March 23 vacated the certification of a class of Texas foster children accusing three Texas officials of injuries caused by systemic deficiencies in the administration of the foster care system (M.D., by next friend Sarah R. Stukenberg, et al. v. Rick Perry, in his official capacity as Governor of the State of Texas, et al., No. 11-40789, 5th Cir.; 2012 U.S. App. LEXIS 6061).
