Panel Affirms Appraisal Ruling In Insurer's Favor In Hurricane Katrina Dispute

GRETNA, La. - A Louisiana appeals panel on March 27 affirmed a lower court's ruling granting an insurer's motion to confirm an appraisal finding that no additional amounts were due to an insured for property damage to its six-unit apartment building arising from Hurricane Katrina (Andrew Dufrene Jr. v. Certain Interested Underwriters at Lloyd's of London, et al., No. 11-CA-1002, La. App., 5th Cir.; 2012 La. App. LEXIS 403).
