CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - A psychiatric rehabilitation social worker failed to establish a prima facie case that the reason she was fired after missing three days of work is that she is black, a Missouri federal magistrate judge held April 6 in granting her former employer summary judgment on her discrimination claims (Kathie Harrington v. Bootheel Counseling Services, Inc., No. 1:10-cv-00019, E.D. Mo.; 2012 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 48878).
