Corvette Dealer Granted Preliminary Injunction In Domain Dispute

SANTA ANA, Calif. - The owner of the domain WestCoastCorvette.com was granted an injunction on April 23 to prevent a competitor from using a very similar domain to divert traffic to its own website, with a California federal judge finding the plaintiff likely to succeed on the merits of its claims brought under the Anticybersquatting Consumer Protection Act (ACPA) (West Coast Corvettes Inc. v. MV Marketing Inc., No. 8:12-cv-00269, C.D. Calif.; 2012 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 56676).
