WASHINGTON, D.C. - Claims by the widow of a Vietnam War veteran that the chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) that took his life were caused by exposure to the benzene in Agent Orange were improperly dismissed at the administrative level, the Veterans Claims U.S. Court of Appeals ruled April 24 (Sandra K. Hupp v. Eric K. Shinseki, Secretary of Veterans Affairs, No. 10-3143, Vet. Clms. App., 2012 U.S. App. Vet. Claims LEXIS 821).
