Federal Judge Dismisses Tenant's Mold Claims For Lack Of Jurisdiction

AKRON, Ohio - An Ohio federal judge on April 30 dismissed various claims asserted by a tenant against her landlord in relation to an alleged failure to remedy mold and other problems at a property she rented, finding that the court lacked jurisdiction over her claims (LeRay S. Gibson v. Joseph Kury, et al., No. 5:12 CV 140, N.D. Ohio.; 2012 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 59764).
