Costco Wholesale Agrees To Pay $3.6M Over Improper Handling Of Hazardous Waste

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - California district attorneys in Alameda and Sacramento counties on June 4 announced that Costco Wholesale Corp. has agreed to pay $3.6 million to resolve claims that it violated California law by not safely handling and disposing of pharmaceutical and hazardous waste.
