Ohio Chemical Maker Agrees To Pay $1.5M To Settle Emissions Suit

TOLEDO, Ohio - A company that produces acrylonitrile and acetonitile at a facility in Lima, Ohio, on June 4 agreed to pay $1.5 million to the federal government to resolve claims that emission leaks from its plant violated the Clean Air Act (CAA) and other environmental laws (United States of America v. Ineos USA LLC, No. 12-cv-1404-JZ, N.D. Ohio).
