Class Suit Accusing Website Of Improperly Selling Personal Information Gets Tossed

ST. LOUIS - A Missouri man who claimed that an online business violated state law by selling individuals' personal information without actually being licensed to engage in the private investigation business failed to state claims upon which relief could be granted, a Missouri federal judge ruled Nov. 21, dismissing the class complaint (Michael G. Brown, et al. v. Intelius, Inc.,  No. 12-852, E.D. Mo.; 2012 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 166311).
