Summary Judgment Granted In NORM Exposure Lawsuit For Lack Of Causation Evidence

NEW ORLEANS - Two oil companies named in a naturally occurring radioactive material exposure personal injury lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana were granted summary judgment on Jan. 3 on the issue of whether the plaintiff provided evidence of exposure to radioactive scale from their pipe (Clarence Hill v. ExxonMobil Corp., et al., No. 11-2786, E.D. La.; 2013 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 259).
