5th Circuit Reverses Lost Rent Ruling In Hurricane Ike Coverage Suit

NEW ORLEANS - The Fifth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on Jan. 4 reversed and remanded a federal court's ruling on rent abatements in favor of an insurer in a coverage dispute stemming from Hurricane Ike damage to the insured's shopping center (GBP Partners Limited v. Maryland Casualty Company, No. 11-20912, 5th Cir.).
