Defense Counsel Ordered To Produce Documents Sought By Chevron In Lago Agrio Suit

NEW YORK - The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York judge presiding over the lawsuit filed by Chevron Corp. to prevent the enforcement of an $18.2 billion personal injury and environmental contamination judgment entered against it in Lago Agrio, Ecuador, entered an order March 15 requiring a firm retained by the Lago Agrio plaintiffs to produce documents responsive to a June 2012 subpoena (Chevron Corp. v. Steven R. Donziger, et al., No. 11-691, S.D. N.Y.; 2013 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 36535).
