Kansas Federal Judge Approves 4th Wage Settlement Motion, Reduces Attorney Fees

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - The parties in a wage-and-hour suit finally had their collective action settlement agreement approved April 17 after filing nearly the same agreement four times and having it rejected the first three times by a Kansas federal judge; however, the judge reduced the amount of attorney fees sought by more than three-fourths (Wayne Gambrell, et al. v. Weber Carpet, Inc., et al., No. 10-2131, D. Kan.; 2013 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 54103).
