Judge Allows Lead Plaintiffs To Amend Complaint In Merck Securities Lawsuit

NEWARK, N.J. - In an opinion made available on June 3, a federal judge in New Jersey granted in part and denied in part lead plaintiffs' motion to file a sixth amended complaint in a securities class action lawsuit against Merck & Co. Inc. and several of its current and former officers and directors (In re Merck & Co. Inc. Securities, Derivative & ERISA Litigation, MDL No. 1658, Nos. 05-1151 and 05-2367, D. N.J.; 2013 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 77097).
