Federal Circuit Agrees: No Controversy Between Farmers, Monsanto

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Federal Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on June 10 affirmed a New York federal judge's finding that assurances by Monsanto Co. that it would not sue farmers whose crops might inadvertently contain traces of Monsanto biotech genes extinguish any controversy between the parties (Organic Seed Growers and Trade Association et al. v. Monsanto Co., No. 12-1298, Fed. Cir.).
